Ronnie Wood was one of the music legends who helped to launch Music Aid way back in 1998. Ronnie donated his own original personally signed artwork to support the launch event in central London. The artwork he donated is Voodo Mick depicting fellow Rolling Stones band member Mick Jagger – see below. Thanks again for your support Ron! Your support was, and still is, greatly appreciated and it was because of supporters like you that the launch of Music Aid was such a big success!

Ronnie has had an outstanding career. He is of course world famous as a member of the Rolling Stones, but before joing the Stones he was also a member of another iconic band: The Faces. This dual membership led to him being one of the very few double, two-time, official inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (for both The Rolling Stones and for The Faces). Ronnie has played with some of the biggest and most influential rock groups of all time and his credits include guest appearances with many of the world’s greatest music legends. Ronnie has also had a parallel career as a highly regarded artist (thanks again for donating your artwork Ronnie). As a natural raconteur and music chat show host he has also won three Sony Radio Personality Awards.
